EFCC Nabbed A Man For Alleged $200,000Bitcoin Fraud in Lagos, Links Him To Obi Cubana’s Company

 

One Precious Ofure Omonkhoa has been bundled by EFCC over bitcoin worth $200 000 fraud in Ikoyi area of Lagos.  

According to a post madd today on the anti-graft's official website, Omknkhoa was arrested on 8th of November following credible intelligence received about his illegal activities. 

The EFCC said its preliminary investigation also revealed that he usually posed as Moshem Cnich, a Swedish national to defraud victims by claiming he runs a bitcoin scheme, also engaged in a dating scam and had defrauded two victims in Canada.

The suspect also confess to committing several internet scams as sum of $50 00 was found in his bitcoin wallet upon his arrest. 

The EFCC said the suspect will be charge to court soon
