The Word of God stands as a mirror through which we can see ourselves daily and to maintain Godly life. The times now reflects what the scripture calls perilous times in 2Timothy. When men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boaster, proud of evil and haters of good works.
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The knowledge of the constitution of any environment helps one to be disciplined and to enjoy the benefits of been law abiding. Therefore the need for us to examine our lives daily based on the word of God becomes vital since the Kingdom of God reigns supreme over every other kingdoms.
David said in psalm, Thy word have I hid in mine heart, That I might not sin against thee.
