WILDERNESS.
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
Luke 4:1-2 KJV
Wilderness is a place of test for every believer and the unbelievers, at some points in life we are compelled to move into the Wilderness where our strength and purpose is examined.
In the wilderness our heart is tested for the love of God and humanity. wilderness is not meant to destroy us but rather to enhance and to bring out God's original purpose in our lives., Since wilderness can sometimes be the only way that could lead to the promise land .
Wilderness experience does not seem to be easily acceptable to us but it's unavoidable because grace is available. Jesus in all his glory faced the wilderness to fulfil his calling or God's purpose for him. Therefore I will say that in the wilderness is also a path God created for rescue
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19 KJV.
The path of wilderness requires faith in God and his word, understanding that Jesus is the only way through the wilderness and our eyes should be focused on him since he will never fail.
I sincerely apologize for not coming last weekend, may the God of peace himself grant us grace and peace as we journey through the wilderness with Christ leading which is the hope of our victory.
Shalom , shalom, shalom.
